Cutout Standees in Dubai: A Shape With a Foot on the Back
A standee is a printed shape cut from rigid board and held upright by a strut. Cutout standees in Dubai are used for product silhouettes, life size figures and any moment where a flat image needs to stand in a room without a frame around it.

What happens to your order before it reaches you.
Six steps, from the brief you send us to the moment it is in place.
The Cut Path Makes or Breaks It
A router follows a vector path around the shape. Tight internal corners and thin protruding elements are where standees fail, so the path is reviewed and simplified before cutting.
Board Thickness Sets the Stability
Thin board flexes and leans. Ten millimetre or a rigid composite stands properly, particularly on a life size figure where the whole height is working against a small footprint.
The Strut Does the Standing
A hinged strut on the back, sized against the height. On anything tall we add a foot plate so the standee does not pivot when somebody walks past it quickly.
The Back Gets Seen
Standees sit in the middle of rooms, so the reverse is in half the photographs. We finish the back in a solid colour as standard and print it properly where the budget allows.
Edges Show the Core
A cut edge reveals the board's inner layer, which on dark artwork shows as a pale outline. Where that matters we edge the board or design a deliberate border into the shape.
Produced Quickly
Print and cut happen in one pass, so turnaround is short. This is usually why standees are chosen over anything fabricated. A shape briefed on Monday can be cut, finished and delivered by Wednesday, which suits the way launch and retail work is normally scheduled, where the artwork is signed off only days before the activation opens and nothing earlier is realistically possible.
Being honest about handling: standees are flat, large and easy to damage. A creased corner cannot be straightened and a scuff across a face cannot be touched in. They travel better flat packed between boards than carried loose.
