It Is Paper Faced, Which Matters
The printable surface is a clay coated paper over foam. That gives an excellent print surface and very low weight, and it also means the panel is finished the moment it comes off the machine.
Contour Cutting Opens It Up
A router follows a path around a logo, a product silhouette or a person, so a board is not limited to a rectangle. Send vector artwork with a cut path if you have one, and if not we will draw it.
Ten Millimetre Stands Up On Its Own
With a foot or a strut behind, ten millimetre board makes a free standing cut out tall enough for a person. Five millimetre needs a wall or a frame.
It Is Light Enough to Hang Anywhere
Hook and loop, double sided tape or a few pins. A large foam board panel weighs little enough to go onto a partition or a temporary wall without any real fixing.
The Edge Shows the Core
Cut edges reveal the white foam between the paper faces. On a dark print that pale line is visible, so where the edge is in view we either edge the board or design the artwork so the border reads as deliberate.
Produced Quickly
Direct printing and routing in one pass means short turnaround, which is usually why it is chosen for event work in the first place.
Being honest about its life: foam board is not durable. The paper face scuffs, the corners crush, and any moisture at all separates the layers. It is the right material for a week and the wrong one for a year.
