Life-Size Cutout Standees in Dubai: The Photograph Decides Everything
A life-size standee is only ever as good as the photograph it was cut from, and most of the problems arrive long before anything is printed. Life-size cutout standees in Dubai start with looking hard at the image and being honest about whether it will work at full height.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Shot Has to Be Full Length
Feet included. A photograph cropped at the knees cannot be extended, and a standee that stops mid shin reads as a mistake no matter how good the face is.
The Camera Should Be at Chest Height
Photographs taken from above make the figure lean backwards once it is standing upright. Shooting level keeps the proportions true when the standee is on a floor.
Resolution Runs Out Faster Than People Expect
A figure at one metre eighty tall needs real detail in the file. An image that looks sharp on a phone frequently softens badly at that scale, and we open it at finished size before quoting.
Hair and Edges Are the Difficult Part
Cutting a person out means dealing with hair, loose fabric and anything translucent. A clean background in the original photograph makes this quick. A busy one makes it slow and sometimes impossible to do well.
The Strut Sets How It Stands
A hinged strut at the back takes the lean. On a figure of this height a foot plate is added so nobody knocks it over walking past.
Delivered Flat
Standees travel flat between protective boards, since a crease across a face cannot be flattened out or touched in afterwards. Shoot against a plain light wall if you have any control over the photograph. Separating a figure from a clean background takes minutes and separating one from a patterned office interior can take an afternoon, and that difference shows up in both the price and the quality of the edge.
Being straightforward about source images: a photograph taken specifically for a standee works every time, and one pulled from a marketing library or a website usually does not. If the standee matters, shoot for it.
