Cardboard Cutout Standees in Dubai: Made for One Weekend
A cardboard standee is designed to do its job once and then be recycled. Cardboard cutout standees in Dubai are the cheapest way to put a full size figure in a room, and understanding that they are disposable is what makes them a sensible choice instead of a disappointing one.
Quantity: 1 standee · Height: Up to 1.2 m · Cutting: Contour cut to shape

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Flutes Give It Rigidity
Corrugated board is two liners with a fluted layer between them. That hollow structure is why a sheet weighing almost nothing stands up at two metres.
Flute Direction Matters
Running the flutes vertically makes a standee far stiffer than running them across. On a tall figure this single production decision is the difference between standing straight and bowing forward by the second day.
It Prints Directly
Artwork is printed onto the liner and cut in the same pass. No mounting, no laminating, which is where most of the cost saving comes from.
Humidity Is the End of It
Cardboard absorbs moisture from the air. In a humid venue or anywhere near an outside door it softens and the figure starts to lean within a day or two.
It Recycles Cleanly
Unlaminated board goes into paper recycling whole. For an event with sustainability reporting this is a genuine advantage over every plastic alternative here.
Flat Packed With the Strut Attached
The hinged strut is scored into the back panel, so there is nothing separate to lose and assembly is folding it out. Order a spare if the event runs more than a day. Cardboard figures get knocked over, leaned on and carried about by guests, and a second one in the van costs very little next to having an empty spot on the second morning. Keep it off a wet floor. Venue cleaners mop overnight and a cardboard base standing in water wicks it upwards, so by morning the bottom few centimetres have softened and the whole figure is leaning.
Being realistic: a cardboard standee will not survive being stored and reused. It creases where it was handled, picks up marks at the base and softens over time. Order it for the event and plan to let it go afterwards.
