Acrylic Cutout Letters in Dubai: One Pass of the Router
A cutout letter is not built, it is removed. A single sheet of acrylic goes on the bed and a router or laser cuts the shape straight out of it. Acrylic cutout letters in Dubai are flat, solid and considerably cheaper than built up letters, and they suit interiors where depth comes from the sheet thickness alone.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Thickness Is the Whole Design
Ten, fifteen or twenty millimetre sheet. The letter has no hollow inside, so whatever thickness you buy is the depth you see. Thicker sheet costs more and reads considerably more substantial on a wall.
The Cut Edge Is the Finish
There are no sides to bond. The edge left by the cutter is the edge of the letter, which means the quality of that cut is the quality of the product. Laser cutting leaves a clear polished edge, routing leaves a matt one that can be polished after.
Clear Letters Glow at the Edge
With a thick clear sheet, light travels through the material and gathers at the cut face. Mounted on standoffs against a pale wall, the edges pick up a bright line that makes the letter look lit when it is not.
Painting the Back Keeps the Face Perfect
Colour is often sprayed on the reverse of clear acrylic so it is viewed through the material. The front stays untouched gloss and the colour cannot be scratched off.
Mounting Is Simple
Studs into the wall for a floating look, or direct adhesive for small lettering on glass and smooth panels. There is no cavity to run cable through, so these are almost always unlit.
Good For Interiors
Office walls, meeting rooms, retail interiors and anywhere a crisp flat letter suits the space better than an illuminated box. They are also the usual choice for a quote or a strapline on a wall, where the text runs long and an illuminated version would be both costly and overbearing.
The constraint is scale. Beyond a certain letter size, solid acrylic becomes heavy and expensive compared with a built up letter that is hollow inside. Large lettering is cheaper and lighter built up, not cut out.

Setting up your file.
- 01Send the logo as a vectorLetters and shapes are cut from your outlines, so we need AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, not a screenshot or a JPEG.
- 02Measure the real spaceWidth, height and a straight-on photo of the wall or fascia. The tape measure often disagrees with the drawing.
- 03Send names as textFor plates and directories, send names and titles in a document, so nothing is retyped from an image.
