Lanyards in Dubai: Everybody Judges the Clip
A lanyard is a printed strap and a small piece of hardware, and the hardware is what people notice. Lanyards in Dubai go out at conferences, on construction sites and across office buildings, and a failed clip puts a card on the floor.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Woven and Printed Are Different Products
A woven lanyard has the text threaded into the webbing and feels substantial. A printed one carries photographic detail, gradients and small logos that weaving cannot manage, at lower cost. Woven for durability, printed for artwork.
Dye Sublimation Prints Through the Fibre
On a printed lanyard, colour can be set into the fibres so both faces carry the design and nothing wears off. Surface printing is cheaper and shows wear along the neck edge within months of daily use.
The Attachment Decides the Failure Mode
A swivel hook is the default and rotates so the card hangs flat. A bulldog clip grips a badge with no hole. A plastic J hook is the cheapest and the one most likely to let go. The fitting is worth more attention than the print.
Width Sets What Will Fit On It
Ten millimetres carries a short name and nothing else. Twenty millimetres takes a logo and a line of text comfortably. Twenty five is close to a sash and only suits bold single words.
Length Has to Clear a Head
Around nine hundred millimetres of webbing gives a drop of roughly four hundred and fifty, which puts a badge at chest height. Shorter and people have to duck into it, which nobody enjoys at a registration desk.
Assembled With the Fitting You Chose
Lanyards arrive with the hardware attached and a sample pulled from each batch and loaded with a card, because the clip is the part that fails.
On the safety fitting: a breakaway clasp at the back of the neck separates under pull, and on any site with machinery, vehicles or moving parts it should be treated as required and not as an option. We fit them by default on industrial work.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
