If the card has to open a door or clock somebody in, the technology inside it is decided by the system already installed. Tell us which reader you use, because a card that looks right and will not open the door is worth nothing.
An Expiry Date Does Half the Work
A printed expiry forces a review and stops a card circulating indefinitely after somebody leaves. Even on a card with no electronics, a visible date is the cheapest control available.
Reissues Are Single Card Jobs
People lose cards and people join mid year. A card design that can be produced one at a time, without a minimum order, is what keeps that manageable. We hold your template and produce singles against it.
Printing Can Carry Visible Security
A fine guilloche pattern, a logo repeated in pale tone across the face, or a holographic overlaminate all make a card harder to reproduce on an office printer. None of it is unbreakable and all of it raises the effort.
Departments Read Faster as Colour
A coloured band or edge per department means a security guard identifies the holder from several metres without reading anything. On a large site that is more useful than any printed detail on the card.

- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
