Wax Seals in Dubai: Melted, Poured and Pressed by Hand
This is the only item in the category made one at a time with heat. Wax is melted, poured into a small pool and stamped with an engraved brass die before it sets. Wax seals in Dubai go onto wedding invitations, luxury packaging and anything meant to feel hand finished.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Die Is Engraved Brass
A monogram or crest is cut into a brass head, and the detail it holds is much finer than rubber because brass does not spread under pressure. One die lasts indefinitely and gets reused across every future order.
Flexible Wax Survives the Post
Traditional sealing wax is brittle and shatters in an envelope going through a sorting machine. Modern flexible wax bends slightly and arrives intact, and it is the only sensible choice for anything being posted.
Each One Is Made Individually
Melt, pour, press, lift, wait. There is no machine that does this at speed, so a hundred seals is a hundred small operations and the labour is the cost. This is why quantity changes the price here differently to printing.
It Is Applied Directly or on a Sticker Back
Poured straight onto the paper, the seal is part of the invitation and holds a flap closed. Made separately with a self adhesive backing, seals can be stuck on later by anybody, which suits a client assembling invitations themselves.
Colour and Metallic Finish Set the Tone
Wax comes in a wide colour range including metallics, and the die picks up light on the raised edges. A deep colour with a metallic sheen is what makes these photograph well on an invitation flat lay.
Die Kept for Reorders
Your brass die is stored here, so a second batch for the same couple or the same brand needs only the wax and the labour.
Being realistic about handling. A wax seal adds thickness, so a sealed envelope may need hand cancelling at the post counter and can attract a surcharge. For a large mailing, check with the courier or the post office before committing to the format.
Compare with custom seals, custom stamps, and office stationery printing.
Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
