01
The Hoarding Encloses the Plot
Printed panels or mesh run the full boundary, carrying the project, the contractor and the consultant. Mesh is used wherever wind is a factor, which on an open plot is almost always. Solid panels on an exposed boundary become a wind load the fence was never designed to carry.

02
Safety Signage Is Not a Design Choice
Mandatory, warning and prohibition signs follow a specified shape, colour and symbol set. What goes up is decided by the site safety officer and the client HSE requirement, and we supply to that specification. Colour and symbol are not ours to reinterpret, however the brand guidelines read.

03
Reflective Material Works After Dark
Barriers, plant markings and high visibility signage need to be found by headlights on a site with no street lighting. That is a material decision, and printing heavily over reflective film defeats it.

04
The Site Office Runs on Paper
Permits to work, inspection sheets, delivery notes and timesheets all run as carbonless sets, because a copy has to stay with the contractor and a copy has to go to the office.

05
The Fleet Gets Marked
Pickups, vans and plant carry the contractor name and often a client requirement. Magnetic panels suit leased vehicles and cut vinyl suits owned ones. Neither leaves a mark on paintwork that a leasing company will query at handover.

06
Everything Gets Replaced
Hoarding panels are scraped by deliveries and safety signs fade. On a multi year project, treat printed material on site as consumable and budget for a refresh.
The boundary we hold to is certification. We produce signage to the class and standard you specify, and the conformity of that specification to your site requirement is confirmed by your safety officer, not by us. Tell us the standard and we will print to it.
