3D Letter Standees in Dubai: Letters People Stand Next To
A letter standee is lettering as furniture. Freestanding characters, usually chest height or taller, placed on a floor at an event for people to photograph themselves beside. 3D letter standees in Dubai are built around that use, which makes stability the first consideration and the look the second.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
It Has to Stay Up on Its Own
Every letter needs a base or a weighted foot wide enough that a crowd brushing past does not tip it. Narrow characters like I and T are the problem ones, and they usually get a hidden plate extending behind them.
People Will Lean on It
Guests put a hand on a letter while posing. The construction has to take that, which rules out bare foam at this size and pushes us towards a braced internal frame with a hard shell over it.
Height Follows the Photograph
Letters around a metre to a metre and a half suit people standing beside them. Much taller and faces are lost against the lettering in a photograph. Much shorter and the letters disappear behind the crowd.
They Break Down for Transport
A word is carried as individual letters, each light enough for one person. Bases usually detach, so a set of letters travels flat in a van and is assembled on site in minutes.
Lighting Is Optional and Popular
Battery or mains lit versions with bulbs around the face or a glowing front carry well in a dim ballroom. Battery versions avoid cable across a floor, which venues generally insist on anyway.
Reused Across Events
A set of letters spelling a company name or a common word gets used repeatedly. Built properly with detachable bases, they survive years of being loaded in and out of vans.
One thing worth planning. Letter standees get photographed from every angle, so the backs are visible in half the pictures. We finish the reverse properly on these, and it is the detail cheaper suppliers leave raw.

Setting up your file.
- 01Send the logo as a vectorLetters and shapes are cut from your outlines, so we need AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, not a screenshot or a JPEG.
- 02Measure the real spaceWidth, height and a straight-on photo of the wall or fascia. The tape measure often disagrees with the drawing.
- 03Send names as textFor plates and directories, send names and titles in a document, so nothing is retyped from an image.
- 04Tell us about power and the wallFor lit signs, where the nearest power point is. For every sign, what the wall is made of.
