Forex and Styrofoam Carved Letters in Dubai: Big, Light and Temporary
Some lettering only has to exist for one evening and has to be enormous. Forex and styrofoam carved letters in Dubai are cut from foam board or polystyrene block, weigh almost nothing, and cost a fraction of anything fabricated in metal or acrylic.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Foam Board Suits Flat Letters
Rigid PVC foam board cuts cleanly, takes paint and print, and holds a crisp edge at thicknesses up to about two centimetres. It is the material behind most low cost interior lettering.
Polystyrene Block Goes Deep
For letters a hand span thick or more, blocks of expanded polystyrene are cut with a hot wire or a machine. The result is huge, dimensional and light enough for one person to carry a letter the height of a door.
The Surface Has to Be Hardened
Raw polystyrene dents if you look at it and dissolves under solvent paint. A hard coating is applied over the whole letter before finishing, which gives it a shell tough enough to handle and a surface that takes colour properly.
Finishes Imitate Other Materials
Once coated, these can be sprayed any colour, given a metallic finish or wrapped in vinyl. At a distance, under event lighting, a coated foam letter reads convincingly as painted metal.
They Are Built to Be Moved
Light enough to carry by hand and to fix with adhesive pads or a simple back frame, which is why they dominate exhibition stands, product launches and photo backdrops.
Made Fast
Because there is no fabrication and no electrics, turnaround on foam lettering is short, which is often the real reason it gets chosen. A set cut on Monday can be painted and delivered by Wednesday, and for an event brief that lands late in the week that matters more than the material ever does.
Setting the expectation plainly: these are not permanent signage. Foam letters dent, chip at the corners and will not survive weather or being leaned on. For anything staying up past the event, acrylic or metal is the right spend.

- 01Send the logo as a vectorLetters and shapes are cut from your outlines, so we need AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, not a screenshot or a JPEG.
