Container Fleet Branding in Dubai: Vinyl Cannot Cross a Corrugation
A shipping container is painted steel pressed into deep ridges and valleys. Adhesive film laid across that bridges the gaps, and anything bridged gets pushed in by a hand or a forklift and splits. Container fleet branding in Dubai works with the corrugation and not over it.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Stencil and Spray Follows the Ridges
Paint goes where the surface goes, into every valley and over every ridge, with nothing bridged and nothing to peel. For large lettering across a container side, a cut stencil and spray paint is the method that actually lasts.
The Doors Are the Only Flat Panels
Container end doors are flat or very shallowly ribbed, which makes them the one place a printed vinyl panel works properly. Most container jobs put the detailed graphic on the doors and the large lettering on the corrugated sides.
Fixed Panels Give a Flat Surface
Where a printed image is needed on a side, a rigid panel can be mounted onto the corrugation and the graphic applied to that. It creates a flat face and it adds weight, cost and something that can be caught during handling.
Identification Markings Must Stay Visible
Container numbers, owner codes, size and type codes and the plate details are required to remain legible. These are never covered, and on a repaint the markings are masked and reinstated exactly.
Containers Get Handled Roughly
They are stacked, clamped, dragged and scraped against each other. Any graphic on a working container is a consumable, and the top and bottom rails and the corner castings take damage no coating survives.
Surveyed for Rust First
We check the panels for rust and flaking paint before quoting, since a container that needs preparing is a different job from one that needs painting.
The limit on any graphic here is the handling. On a container in active circulation, expect scuffs and gouges within the first few moves and plan on refreshing the branding periodically. On a static container used as a site office or a kiosk, a full printed treatment makes much more sense and will last.
