Fleet and Specialist Branding in Dubai: None of These Are Cars

A van is a set of large smooth painted panels, which is close to ideal for vinyl. Fleet and specialist branding in Dubai deals with surfaces that are none of those things, and each one breaks a different rule that holds true on a vehicle.

Before it reaches you

What happens to your order before it reaches you.

Six steps, from the brief you send us to the moment it is in place.

01

Corrugation Defeats Adhesive Film

A shipping container is a series of ridges and valleys in painted steel. Vinyl bridges the gaps instead of following them, and anything bridged will be pushed in and torn. This surface needs a different method entirely.

02

Saltwater Attacks the Edges

A hull sits in corrosive water and gets washed with pressure. Any cut edge of vinyl is a place for water to work underneath, so marine graphics need sealed edges and a specification made for immersion and constant wet.

03

Heat and Grease Come From Inside

A food truck has a kitchen behind the panel. Heat from equipment transfers through the bodywork and grease condenses on the outside around the serving hatch. Both attack adhesive from directions a normal vehicle never experiences.

04

Compliance Markings Cannot Be Covered

Containers carry identification and plate details, boats carry registration, and commercial vehicles carry operator markings. These are required to stay visible, so the artwork is designed around them and never over them.

05

Access Changes the Whole Job

A container in a stack and a boat out of the water are both working at height, from a cradle or scaffolding. The access arrangement is often a larger part of the cost than the graphics, and it has to be settled first.

06

Surveyed on the Actual Asset

Every job in this group starts with somebody looking at the real thing, since no two containers, hulls or trucks present the same surface, and the method follows what we find.

Where we will say no is a surface that will not hold. Heavily rusted steel, a flaking painted hull or a panel that flexes badly will release vinyl whatever we do, and we would rather turn the work down than fit graphics that fail in a month.
