The Binding Decides Whether It Lies Flat
Wire bound notebooks open completely flat and fold right back on themselves. Sewn and glued notebooks look more like a book and resist staying open. Somebody taking notes in a meeting wants it flat.
The Cover Takes the Branding
Printed card, soft touch laminate, debossed leatherette or a foil blocked logo. Because the cover is a single flat panel, this is the one part of a notebook where almost any finish is available.
An Elastic Closure Keeps It Shut in a Bag
Without one, a notebook in a bag opens and the pages crease and dog ear. An elastic band closure or an envelope flap is a small cost that protects everything inside it.
Inner Pages Can Carry Your Own Layout
Lined, dotted, squared or a printed template on every page. A notebook with a printed agenda, a meeting structure or a daily format is more useful than a blank one and costs very little more to produce.

- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
