We Start From Whatever You Have
A photocopy of the sheet you use now, a spreadsheet, a scan of a competitor's form or a sketch on paper. All of those are workable starting points, and most of these jobs begin with a form somebody has been photocopying for years.
Field Sizes Come From Real Handwriting
A box designed on screen often turns out too small once somebody writes a vehicle plate or a signature in it. We size the fields around what has to be written, which is why we ask for a filled in example and not a blank one.
Tick Boxes Beat Blank Lines
A form completed in a hurry gets completed badly. Tick boxes, printed options and pre printed units mean a technician circles something instead of writing a sentence, and the information actually arrives.
Terms Go on the Back of the Top Sheet
Conditions, warranty wording and a declaration above the signature usually print on the reverse of the part the customer keeps. Printing them on all three parts wastes ink on copies nobody reads.
Part Count Follows the Departments
One part per person who needs a copy, plus one that stays in the book. Count the departments first and the number of parts answers itself.

- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
