Tax Invoice Books in Dubai: The Fields Are Not Ours to Choose
This is the one book in the range where the content is specified by somebody other than you. Tax invoice books in Dubai have to carry the particulars the Federal Tax Authority requires, and the layout exists to make sure none of them can be left blank by accident.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Required Particulars Come From the Authority
A compliant tax invoice carries specific items, commonly including the words identifying it as a tax invoice, the supplier's tax registration number, the date, a unique sequential number and the tax amount shown separately. The current full list comes from the authority, not from us.
Tax Has to Sit on Its Own Line
The net amount, the tax and the gross total each need their own field. Printing a single total with tax buried inside it is the most common fault we see on a form somebody designed themselves.
Sequential Numbering Is Part of the Requirement
Invoice numbers run in an unbroken sequence, which means the numbering is printed and not written. It also means a spoiled invoice is cancelled and kept in the book, never torn out and thrown away.
The Registration Number Is Pre Printed
Your TRN goes on the form at print stage so nobody has to write it each time and nobody can transpose a digit. It appears on every part of every set.
Three Parts Suit Most Businesses
Customer, accounts and the bound book copy. That arrangement means the invoice reaches finance without anybody photocopying anything, which is usually what the third part is actually for.
Approved Field by Field
We send a full size proof with every field labelled for you to walk through with your accountant, because a compliance error printed into fifty books is fifty books.
We have to be plain about the boundary here. We print the form you approve and we do not advise on tax compliance. Whether your layout and wording satisfy the current regulations is for you and your tax adviser to confirm before the book is printed.
Compare with receipt book printing, 3 part NCR vouchers, and books and NCR forms.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
