Receipt Book Printing in Dubai: Proof That Money Changed Hands
A receipt exists to settle a future argument. Somebody paid, somebody took the money, and both sides need the same record of it. Receipt book printing in Dubai produces that record, and the fields on the page are there to make it hard to dispute later.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Customer Takes the Top Sheet
The original is perforated and leaves with whoever paid. The copy stays bound in the book as the business record. That direction is fixed: the person who handed over money gets the piece of paper they can wave.
The Amount Is Written Twice
Once in figures and once in words. Figures can be altered with a pen stroke and words cannot, which is why the amount in words line has survived on every receipt book for a century.
Mode of Payment Belongs on the Form
Cash, cheque, transfer or card, with space for a cheque number and a date. Without that box somebody writes it in the margin, and a receipt with the payment method missing is the one that causes the reconciliation problem.
Numbering Makes the Book Auditable
Receipts are numbered sequentially through the book and across books, so a missing number is visible. We need to know which number to begin at, and whether a book already in use is being carried on from.
It Gets Written on a Car Bonnet
Receipt books are used standing up, outdoors, on a knee. A stiff backing board and a wraparound flap that slides under the set are what make that possible, and the flap also stops the pen marking the set below.
One Set Written and Pulled
We write across a set from every batch and separate it, because the only test that matters is whether the copy came through readable.
One thing worth checking with your accountant. A receipt and a tax invoice are different documents with different requirements, and a receipt book will not serve as a tax invoice. If you need both, they are two separate books.
Compare with tax invoice books, payment voucher books, and books and NCR forms.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
