It Can Be Wiped Clean
A plastic surface takes a damp cloth. Marks, fingerprints and dust that would ruin a paper faced standee come straight off, which is what makes storage worthwhile.
Humidity Does Nothing to It
No paper, no foam core to delaminate and nothing to absorb moisture. A Forex standee near an entrance behaves the same as one in a dry storeroom.
It Takes Knocks Without Marking
The surface is tougher than foamboard and springs back from light contact. Corners still chip under real impact, but everyday handling leaves no trace.
Thickness Decides the Stance
Five millimetre suits a wall mounted or supported cutout. Ten millimetre stands on its own at full height and resists bowing across a long storage period.
It Stacks Flat for Months
Stored upright or flat between events, a Forex standee comes out looking the same as it went in. That single property is the whole reason it costs more than cardboard.
Cut and Finished to the Shape
Routed to the cut path with edges sealed, and we fit a heavier strut and foot plate than on disposable boards because this one is expected to be stood up repeatedly. Label the back with the campaign and the date before it goes into storage. A stack of reusable cutouts is only an asset if somebody can identify what is in it without pulling every sheet out to look. Store it upright if you can. Flat stacking works, and a heavy sheet left on top of a stack for several months presses a visible line into whatever is underneath it.
The honest counterpoint is heat. Forex softens and can bow if stored against a hot wall or left in a vehicle through a Dubai afternoon, and a bowed sheet does not come back flat. Store it somewhere cool and it lasts for years.
