Print and Cut Frosted Stickers in Dubai: Printed, Then Cut to the Logo
This is the method behind every frosted logo you have seen floating on a glass door with no rectangle around it. Print and cut frosted stickers in Dubai combine printed colour on frost with a contour cut, so the finished shape is the artwork and nothing else.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Sensor Struggles to See the Marks
Contour cutting works by reading printed registration marks optically. On a translucent film those marks have poor contrast, so we print them heavier and back them where needed. Skip that and the blade cuts a millimetre off its own outline.
Colour and Shape Arrive Together
You get printed detail inside a cut outline, which neither of the other frost methods can do. A two colour logo as a free floating shape on glass is only possible this way.
A Border of Frost Protects the Edge
Cutting exactly along a printed edge leaves ink at the very boundary, where it chips. Leaving a hairline of unprinted frost around the shape gives the cut something to land in and the edge lasts years longer.
Weeding Happens Before Taping
Everything outside the cut line is lifted away, leaving only the logo on its backing. Application tape then carries the shape to the glass with the spacing held, exactly as it would for cut vinyl.
Fitting Has No Margin for Error
A rectangle can be nudged. A free floating logo has to be level and centred on first contact, because lifting printed frost off wet glass usually stretches it. We mark a datum line in low tack tape before anything is peeled.
Cut Depth Proofed on an Offcut
Blade pressure is set on a piece of the same roll, since frost sits differently under a blade to clear or white vinyl.
To be straightforward, this is the most expensive route to a frosted logo. If the shape can sit inside a frosted band or a rectangle, printed frost costs less and fits faster. The free floating look is what you are paying the difference for.

- 02Match resolution to distanceSomething read from a few metres away needs far less resolution than a business card. Around 100 dpi at full size is usually plenty.
- 03Tell us how it will be fixedHems, eyelets, pole pockets and frames take up material around the edge. Tell us the fixing and prepress allows for it.
- 04Send logos as vectorsAI, EPS, SVG or PDF keeps edges sharp at large sizes. Embed or outline the fonts.
