Building Wrap Stickers in Dubai: Printed by the Hundred Square Metre
At this scale printing is the straightforward part and everything around it is not. Building wrap stickers in Dubai cover towers, hoardings and facades under construction, and the project is mostly access, engineering and approvals with some large format print attached.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Mesh Lets the Wind Through
A solid sheet across a facade is a sail, and at height the loads are serious. Perforated mesh lets air pass and cuts that load dramatically, which is why almost every large building wrap is mesh and not solid film.
Fixing Is Engineered, Not Stuck
Nothing this big is adhesive. Panels are hemmed, eyeleted and tensioned to a frame, scaffold or rail system with bungee or rope at a set spacing. The fixing method comes from a structural view of what is behind it.
Access Costs More Than the Print
Scaffold, a cradle, rope access or a cherry picker is usually the largest line in the whole job. Settling how the installers reach the surface is the first conversation, well before anybody discusses artwork.
Approvals Come From Several Directions
Facade advertising and construction hoarding graphics typically need the authority, the developer and the main contractor to sign off, and each has its own rules on content and dimensions. Allow real time for this.
Artwork Is Viewed From Far Away
A wrap read from across a road or from a car does not need high resolution. We print these at a far lower resolution than a brochure, which is also what makes the file sizes manageable at this scale.
Panelled to the Elevation Drawing
Panels are set out against the real elevation with joins planned onto architectural lines, so the seams read as part of the building.
Being plain about who does what: we print, panel and install the graphic. Structural suitability of the facade or scaffold, and the permits, sit with the contractor and the consultant. We will work to their drawings and we will not sign off on their structure.

- 01Work at full size or to scaleBuild the file at full size, or at a stated scale such as 1:10 when the canvas gets too big, and tell us the scale.
- 02Match resolution to distanceSomething read from a few metres away needs far less resolution than a business card. Around 100 dpi at full size is usually plenty.
- 03Tell us how it will be fixedHems, eyelets, pole pockets and frames take up material around the edge. Tell us the fixing and prepress allows for it.
- 04Send logos as vectorsAI, EPS, SVG or PDF keeps edges sharp at large sizes. Embed or outline the fonts.
Quick answers.
Mesh, almost always. Solid acts as a sail at height.
The contractor and consultant. We work to their approvals.
Access. Scaffold or rope access outweighs the printing.
