The Hole Has to Clear the Handle
Lever handles, round knobs and the long pulls on villa doors are all different diameters. A hole cut too small will not go on and one cut too large lets the card swing and fall. We cut to the handle type you specify, so tell us what the doors actually have.
A Slot Lets It Pass the Lever
A plain circular hole will not get over a lever handle at all. A narrow slot running from the top edge into the hole lets the card slide past the lever and then sit. Almost every hotel door needs that slot.
It Is Cut With a Die
The hole and the rounded top are stamped out with a shaped tool. Standard shapes run on tooling we already hold, and an unusual outline needs a die made first, which adds cost and a few days to a first order.
Both Faces Carry a Message
A hanger shows one face to the corridor and the other to the room. On hotel work that is usually do not disturb on one side and service requested on the other, which means the two sides are read in completely different contexts.
It Spends Hours Outdoors on Residential Drops
Hung on a villa gate in the morning, a hanger sits in sun and dust until somebody comes home. Uncoated card curls and fades in that time, so distribution work needs a heavier stock and ideally a laminate.
Die Cut, Then Counted in Bundles
Hangers arrive cut, trimmed and bundled in counted stacks, which is what a distribution team needs to allocate a route.
The distribution reality is that hangers get removed by anybody passing. For a residential campaign, plan on a proportion disappearing before the resident sees them, and treat the quantity as a distribution figure and not a household count.

- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
