Plotter Cut Stickers in Dubai: Colour From the Vinyl, Not the Ink
No printer is involved here at all. A blade cuts shapes out of vinyl that is already the colour you want, and what you get is pure pigment with nothing on top of it. Plotter cut stickers in Dubai are the choice for lettering, logos and anything that has to last.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Colour Is the Material
Cast vinyl comes in hundreds of solid colours. Because the colour runs through the film instead of sitting on it as ink, there is nothing to fade off the surface and nothing to scratch away. A cut vinyl window that has been cleaned weekly for five years still reads as the day it went on.
Weeding Is the Slow Part
After cutting, somebody picks out every piece that is not part of the design with a hook and tweezers. The counters inside letters, the gaps in a logo, all of it by hand. This is most of the labour on a cut job, and it is why a complicated logo costs more to cut than a simple one even at the same size.
Application Tape Holds the Spacing
Loose letters would go on crooked. A low tack tape lifts the whole design off its backing in one piece, keeps every letter in position, and peels away once the vinyl is down.
It Outlives a Printed Sticker
Cut vinyl on a window stays correct for years longer than printed vinyl in the same spot. For shop opening hours, door numbers and fleet lettering, that is why nobody prints it.
Detail Has a Floor
Thin strokes cannot be weeded. Script typefaces with hairlines, text under about fifteen millimetres tall and fine ornament all fall apart on the bench, and we will say so before cutting.
Supplied Taped and Ready to Fit
Designs arrive weeded, taped and with a registration line, so an installer has a straight edge to work to instead of guessing.
The real constraint is colour count. Every colour is a separate cut and a separate layer to line up by hand, so two is routine, three is fiddly and a photograph is simply not possible. Printed vinyl exists for that job.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
Quick answers.
No. Cut vinyl is solid colour only.
Two is routine. Three is fiddly. More is not sensible.
About fifteen millimetres tall before weeding fails.
