You Can Write on It
This is the one thing vinyl cannot do. A pen works on uncoated paper instantly and does not smudge. For batch numbers, dates, names and prices filled in by hand, paper is the only sensible choice and the price is almost incidental.
It Is an Indoor Material
Paper has no water resistance and no ultraviolet resistance. Outdoors it goes grey in weeks and pulps in the first rain. Nothing about the printing changes that, so if there is any chance of weather, this is the wrong page.
Coated or Uncoated Changes the Look
Uncoated paper takes pen and has a soft, natural face. Coated paper holds much brighter colour and resists a little handling, and nothing will write on it. Those two choices rule each other out, so decide whether anybody needs to write on it first.
Sheets Suit Short Runs
A sheet of paper labels through a digital press is quick, cheap and needs no setup. For a hundred stickers it is the most direct route there is, and it is why paper handles almost all same week requests.
Removal Leaves a Mess
Paper tears when you peel it, so the face comes away and the backing stays stuck. If anybody has to take these off cleanly later, paper will cost you an afternoon with a scraper.
Printed, Guillotined and Boxed Flat
Sheets are trimmed, counted and boxed flat with board, since a curled sheet of paper labels never feeds properly again.
Small paper labels gang up dozens to a sheet, which is where the low price actually comes from. The press run is the same whether it carries one design or twelve. We would say this before you order. Paper reacts to humidity, and Dubai has plenty of it. Stored in an air conditioned office a sheet stays flat for months. Left in a warehouse or a van, the edges curl and the corners lift off whatever they are stuck to.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
