Laser Engraving Removes the Coating
A laser burns through the powder coated colour to the bare steel underneath, leaving your mark in silver. Nothing is added to the surface, so there is nothing to scratch off. This is the most durable decoration available on any promotional item.
Powder Coat Gives the Body Its Colour
The colour is baked onto the steel as a hard shell, which is why these resist knocks that would chip paint. A matt powder coat also stops the bottle showing every fingerprint the way bare steel does.
Single Wall and Vacuum Are Different Bottles
A single wall steel bottle is lighter, cheaper and sweats with cold water. A double wall vacuum bottle holds temperature for hours and never condenses on the outside, which matters in a Dubai summer more than almost anywhere.
The Thread and Cap Take the Wear
Daily opening wears the thread. A bottle with a moulded plastic collar in the neck lasts longer than one where a plastic cap screws directly onto the steel, and this is not something you can see without being told.
Weight Is the Trade for Durability
Steel is noticeably heavier than plastic, and a vacuum bottle is heavier again. For a desk or a car that is fine. For a giveaway people carry round an exhibition hall all day it is a reason some get left behind.
Engraved on a Sample First
We engrave one bottle and send it, because an engraved mark looks quite different from a printed one and nobody should approve a large order on a mockup.
A caution on colour. Laser engraving produces one colour only, the silver of the steel, and it cannot reproduce a logo that depends on two colours to read. Where brand colour is essential we print instead and accept that the print will wear.
