Caps Printing in Dubai: A Curved Panel With a Seam Down the Middle
A cap front is not a flat surface. It curves in two directions, it usually has a stitched seam running up the centre and there is stiff backing behind it. Caps printing in Dubai works around all three, and it is the reason most caps are decorated some other way.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
A Flat Press Cannot Follow a Curve
Heat transfer needs even contact and pressure across the whole design. On a curved cap front the centre touches and the edges lift, so a wide print comes out patchy at the sides. Small and central is what works.
The Centre Seam Interrupts the Artwork
On a six panel cap, a seam runs right through the middle of the printable area. Any design crossing it steps and distorts along that line, which is why printed caps are usually five panel or have the mark placed off centre.
Side and Rear Panels Are Flatter
The sides and the back of a cap are much closer to flat, and a small print there presses cleanly. A logo on the side panel is often the better answer than fighting the front.
The Peak Is a Rigid Flat Surface
The underside and top of the peak are stiff and genuinely flat, so these take print well. A mark on the peak reads clearly and costs nothing extra to position.
Specialist Presses Exist for Cap Fronts
A curved platen press is shaped to match a cap front and applies even pressure across it. Where a printed front is genuinely needed, this is how it is done properly instead of hoping a flat press will manage.
One Cap Pressed First
We decorate a single cap and look at the edges of the print, since the lifting at the sides of a curved panel is invisible until it happens.
What printing on a cap cannot do is match embroidery for durability. A cap lives in sun, sweat and rain and gets crushed into bags, and a surface print wears at the folds where stitching would not. For staff uniform that will be worn daily, embroidery is the honest recommendation.
