Coupon Printing in Dubai: It Only Works If It Comes Back
A coupon is the only printed item whose success is measurable. It goes out, somebody brings it to a counter, and it is collected and counted. Coupon printing in Dubai is built around that return trip, which is why numbering and perforation matter more than the design.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Numbering Makes It Countable
Sequential numbers printed through the run let you reconcile what came back against what went out, and they stop the same coupon being used twice. We need the first number in the range, plus any numbers already issued on an earlier campaign. Without numbering you have a discount and no way to measure anything.
Perforation Separates the Stub
A perforated line lets the counter tear off the redeemable part and leave a stub with the customer, or the reverse. Which half is kept by whom is a decision about your reconciliation process, made before printing.
The Terms Have to Be on It
Expiry date, one per customer, participating branches, what it cannot be combined with. All of it has to be printed on the coupon, because every dispute at a till is settled by what the piece of paper says.
It Has to Survive a Wallet
Coupons are carried for weeks before use. Light paper creases until the number is unreadable, which is the one part that must stay legible. A reasonable card weight is worth the small extra across the run.
Staff Need to Recognise It Instantly
A till operator checking a coupon in a queue needs to see at a glance that it is genuine and current. A distinctive colour per campaign does that faster than any printed wording.
Numbered, Perforated and Blocked
Coupons are supplied in numbered blocks so each branch or distributor receives a known range, which is what makes the reconciliation possible at all.
Where this falls apart is forgery, and we will be straightforward about it. Standard printing can be photocopied. Sequential numbering catches duplicates at reconciliation but not at the counter. If a coupon carries significant value, it needs security features and those change the job substantially.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at the finished sizeSet the page to the exact trimmed size of the piece, not a larger sheet with crop marks drawn in.
- 02Add 3 mm bleedRun background colour and images 3 mm past every edge that gets trimmed, so no white line shows after cutting.
- 03Keep text off the edgeHold text and logos at least 4 mm inside the trim line, clear of the blade.
- 04Send a print-ready PDFCMYK, fonts embedded or outlined, images at 300 dpi at final size. AI, EPS and high-resolution JPEG also work.
