Eco Tarpaulin Banners in Dubai: Outdoor Printing Without PVC
Most outdoor banner material is PVC, which is durable and difficult to recycle. Eco tarpaulin banners in Dubai are the alternative: a polyester or polyolefin based cloth that handles weather, takes print well and can go into a recycling stream at the end of its life instead of landfill.
Material: 440gsm frontlit PVC · Finishing: Hemmed with eyelets · Installation: Supply only

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
It Feels Different in the Hand
Eco tarpaulin is lighter and slightly more textured than flex. Picking one up, the difference is obvious. Hanging on a fence at ten metres, nobody can tell.
Print Sits on a Coated Face
The material carries a print receptive coating so ink keys properly. Without that coating the surface would repel solvent ink, so this is the layer that makes the whole product possible.
Weather Performance Is Close
For a season of outdoor use, eco tarpaulin holds up comparably to standard flex. Over several years in full sun, PVC still has the edge, so the choice depends on how long the banner needs to survive.
It Is Recyclable as One Material
Because the base is a single polymer family, it can be processed at end of life. PVC banners with mixed coatings and brass eyelets are far harder to deal with, which is the environmental argument in a sentence.
Finishing and Fixing
Hemmed and eyeletted the same way as flex, and we can supply plastic eyelets instead of brass where you want the whole banner to stay in one material stream.
Colour Sits Slightly Differently
The coating on eco tarpaulin holds ink a little differently from flex, so a brand colour printed on both will not match exactly side by side. On a single banner nobody notices. Where an eco banner hangs next to an existing PVC one, we proof the colour first so the pair look related.
We would rather you heard this from us. Eco material costs more per square metre than standard flex and performs slightly worse over a multi year install. If sustainability reporting matters to your organisation it is clearly worth it. If the only criterion is cost per month on a fence, it is not.
Compare with flex banners, mesh fence banners, and banner printing.
