Lama Stands in Dubai: A Banner Frame That Weighs Almost Nothing
A lama stand is a slim tension fabric banner frame, built from lightweight sections with a printed sleeve pulled over the whole thing. Lama stands in Dubai are chosen where a roll up would be too heavy, too bulky or simply not smart enough.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Fabric Sleeves Over the Frame
The graphic is a tube of printed cloth that slides over the assembled frame and zips closed at the base. Both faces are covered in one piece, so there is no visible hardware anywhere.
It Is Double Sided by Default
Because the sleeve wraps the whole frame, the back is printed at no extra structural cost. A roll up shows a blank cassette and a bare back by comparison.
It Weighs Very Little
No cassette, no spring, no weighted base. The whole stand packs into a slim bag that fits in hand luggage, which is why these travel for roadshows and international events.
Feet Give It Stability
Small detachable feet clip to the base and sit under the fabric. They are the only rigid element at floor level and they are also the part most often left behind at a venue.
The Fabric Can Be Washed
Printed polyester cleans up, so a stand used regularly keeps looking current. A scuffed roll up graphic has to be reprinted.
Supplied With Spare Feet
We include a spare set, because a stand missing one foot cannot be used and the feet are small enough to vanish into a venue carpet. Wash the sleeve well ahead of a major event, not the night before. Fabric takes a day to dry fully, and a slightly damp sleeve pulled over a frame holds creases that will still be visible when the doors open.
The honest comparison with a roll up: a lama stand is lighter, double sided and tidier, and it takes a few minutes to assemble instead of thirty seconds. Where a stand goes up and down several times a day, the roll up still wins.
Compare with roll-up banners, totem display stands, and portable display stands.
