Telescopic Backdrop Stands in Dubai: One Frame, Many Sizes

A telescopic backdrop stand is two uprights and an adjustable crossbar that extends to whatever width you need. Telescopic backdrop stands in Dubai are bought by teams who hang different graphics at different venues and cannot justify a dedicated frame for each one.

How it's made

From your file to the finished job.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.

01 / 06

Width Adjusts Between Venues

The crossbar slides out in sections and locks. The same stand carries a two metre banner at one event and a four metre one at the next, which is the entire argument for the product.

02 / 06

Height Adjusts Too

Uprights telescope independently, so a low ceiling at one venue and a high one at the next are handled by the same kit. Both poles are set to the same mark so the bar stays level.

03 / 06

The Graphic Hangs, It Does Not Tension

Banners clip or hook onto the bar and hang under their own weight. That means a slight wave along the fabric, which looks fine in a room and shows under direct flash.

04 / 06

Weight Is at the Feet

All the stability comes from the base plates, and on a tall wide setup they need more than they are usually supplied with. Sandbags over the feet are standard practice at any real event.

05 / 06

It Packs Very Small

Collapsed, the whole stand fits a bag about a metre long. That portability is why it turns up at press calls, pop up shops and small activations where nothing larger would get through the door.

06 / 06

Supplied With the Bag

Poles, feet, crossbar sections and clips come in one padded bag, and we include a spare set of clips because they are the part that goes missing. Mark the poles at the heights you use most. A strip of tape at two common settings saves measuring at every venue and keeps a row of stands level without anyone checking each one against the next.

The honest limitation is finish. A telescopic stand with a hanging banner never looks as resolved as a tension fabric wall. Where the backdrop is being photographed for publication, spend the extra on a proper frame.
