Custom Gift Boxes in Dubai: The Magnet Goes In Before the Paper
What separates a gift box from a plain rigid box is the closure and what sits inside it. Custom gift boxes in Dubai are built as a book style case with magnets buried in the flap, and the sequence on the bench is what decides whether it closes with a satisfying snap or a dull knock.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Magnets Are Pocketed Into the Board
Two small discs go into recesses cut in the flap and two matching ones into the front wall, before any printed paper goes on. They are glued in with the poles checked, then wrapped over, so from the outside there is no sign of them at all.
Pole Orientation Gets Checked by Hand
A magnet fitted the wrong way round repels the flap open. Each pair is tested against its partner before gluing, which sounds obvious and is exactly the step a rushed production line skips.
The Flap Hinge Is a Scored Channel
The lid folds on a scored line in the greyboard with the wrap continuing across it unbroken. That hinge opens thousands of times, so the paper over it has to be flexible enough not to crack at the fold within a week.
A Ribbon Pull Is Threaded Before Closing
Where the product sits in a deep well, a fabric ribbon is laid under the insert with both ends emerging at the sides, so lifting them raises the product out. The ribbon goes in before the insert is fixed and cannot be added later.
The Insert Is Cut to the Product
Foam, moulded pulp or folded card, routed or die cut to hold each item in place. This is what stops contents sliding, and it is the part that makes opening the box feel designed instead of accidental.
Closed and Opened Fifty Times
We work the flap on a sample repeatedly and check the hinge and the magnet seating, since a closure that loosens is the complaint this product actually generates.
Where hand work shows is consistency. These boxes are assembled individually, so across three hundred units there will be small variation in how the paper sits at a corner or how firmly the magnet seats. It is normal for the process and worth knowing before you inspect a pallet closely.
Compare with rigid boxes, corporate gift sets, and boxes built to order.
