The Laminate Is the Product
The print underneath is ordinary. What makes a floor sticker survive is a thick textured overlaminate, usually a good deal heavier than anything used on a wall. Without it a printed floor graphic is scuffed grey inside a week in a mall entrance.
Slip Resistance Is Not Optional
A smooth laminate on a polished floor is a hazard, and a wet one is worse. Floor laminates carry a slip rating and malls and venues will ask for it. Get that figure from us and give it to the venue before you order anything.
The Floor Underneath Decides Adhesion
Polished marble, sealed concrete, vinyl, ceramic tile and carpet all behave differently, and carpet needs an entirely different product with a gripping backing. Tell us the surface, because a floor sticker that lifts at a corner is a trip hazard and gets pulled up the same day.
Grout Lines Are the Weak Point
Across tiles, the sticker bridges every joint and traffic presses it down into each one. That is where cracking starts. Sizing a graphic to sit within a tile, or accepting the lines will show, is a decision made at artwork stage.
Fitting Needs the Floor Genuinely Clean
Dust is invisible on a floor and fatal to adhesive. We clean, dry and in some cases solvent wipe before fitting, which is why floor work usually happens before a venue opens.
Fitted Outside Trading Hours
We install when the floor is empty and dry, and we come back to lift them at the end of the campaign so the venue gets its floor back clean.
The thing to settle before ordering is lifespan. In a busy mall walkway, expect a few weeks to a couple of months looking good. In a quiet showroom the same sticker lasts a year. Anybody quoting you a single figure has not asked where it goes.
