It Prints Onto the Vinyl Face
Artwork is printed and cured on the vinyl, which at this stage is still a continuous sheet on its backing paper. Nothing is a sticker yet.
The Blade Cuts Only the Vinyl
A knife follows the cut path at a depth that passes through the vinyl and the adhesive, stopping at the backing. That precision is what lets a sticker peel off cleanly while the sheet stays intact.
Weeding Removes the Waste
Surplus vinyl around each shape is lifted away by hand. On intricate designs this is slow work, and it is the step where a rushed job leaves slivers of vinyl stuck to the sheet.
Transfer Tape Goes On When Needed
Cut lettering and multi part designs get a layer of tape over the top so every element stays in position during application. Without it, individual letters go on crooked or not at all.
Finish Is Chosen for the Use
Gloss makes colour pop and shows fingerprints. Matt is subtler and easier to read at an angle. For anything handled frequently we laminate, which adds durability more than appearance.
Supplied on Sheets or Singly
Small stickers come on sheets for easy handling. Larger ones are supplied individually, taped and ready to apply. Order more than you need. Stickers are cheap in quantity and expensive to set up again, so a second run of two hundred months later costs most of what the first thousand did.
The honest limit is fine detail at small sizes. A blade has a turning radius, so thin strokes and sharp internal points lose definition below a certain scale. We check the cut path at final size and flag anything that will not hold.
