The Modules Sit on a Flexible Base
Each small module is mounted on a rubber or silicone backing that tolerates bending in one direction. Panels attach magnetically to a curved frame, which is what lets the final shape be set on site.
There Is a Minimum Radius
It bends, but not infinitely. Every product has a tightest curve it will take before the modules are stressed, and a column wrapped tighter than that will fail at the bend within months. We work the radius out from your column before quoting.
It Can Curve Both Ways
Convex around the outside of a pillar or concave into an alcove. The frame is made to the shape, and the panels follow it, which is how continuous wraparound screens on round columns are built.
Weight Is Lower
Without a rigid cabinet behind each panel, a soft screen is lighter than the equivalent fixed display. On a suspended or temporary structure that difference opens up installations that would otherwise need engineering.
Content Has to Respect the Curve
Text wrapped around a column is only readable across part of its width at any one time. Content for curved screens works better as motion, colour and large shapes than as lines of copy.
Built to the Structure
We survey the column or wall and make the frame to it, so the screen arrives as a kit that fits one specific position.
The honest limitation is durability. Flexible panels are more delicate than rigid ones, they are harder to service module by module, and they do not suit a position where people can touch them. For a permanent screen at head height, a rigid panel is the better buy.
