LED Screen Modules in Dubai: The Tile Every Screen Is Built From
Every LED screen is an assembly of identical tiles. Each one carries its own LEDs, driver chips and connector, and the finished display is simply a grid of them locked together. LED screen modules in Dubai are worth understanding because they decide what sizes are possible and what happens when something fails.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Screen Size Comes in Whole Modules
You cannot have a screen two and a half modules wide. Final dimensions are always a multiple of the tile size, so a screen specified to fit an exact alcove usually ends up slightly smaller with a frame making up the difference.
Each One Is Independently Replaceable
If a module fails, that tile comes out and a new one goes in. The rest of the screen keeps running. This is the main practical advantage of LED over a single large panel display.
Modules From One Batch Match
LEDs vary slightly between production runs, so a replacement from a different batch can read marginally different in colour against its neighbours. We recommend buying spares with the original screen for exactly this reason.
Magnets or Screws
Front serviced modules pull off magnetically with a suction tool. Rear fixed ones are unbolted from behind. Which one you need is decided by whether there is access space behind the screen.
They Carry Their Own Calibration
Each module stores correction data so brightness and colour are evened out across the whole screen. This is why a well set up display looks uniform even though it is made of hundreds of separate parts.
Supplied for Existing Screens
We supply replacement modules for screens we did not install, provided the pitch and the mounting type are identified. Send a photo of the back of one module.
Here is the practical advice. Order spare modules at the time of purchase, at least a few per screen. They are inexpensive next to the display, they will match, and sourcing the same batch two years later is often impossible.

Setting up your file.
- 01Send the logo as a vectorLetters and shapes are cut from your outlines, so we need AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, not a screenshot or a JPEG.
- 02Measure the real spaceWidth, height and a straight-on photo of the wall or fascia. The tape measure often disagrees with the drawing.
- 03Send names as textFor plates and directories, send names and titles in a document, so nothing is retyped from an image.
- 04Tell us about power and the wallFor lit signs, where the nearest power point is. For every sign, what the wall is made of.
