Indoor LED Screen Signage in Dubai: How Close People Will Stand
The first question on any indoor screen is not size or budget. It is how close somebody will be standing. Indoor LED screen signage in Dubai is specified around that distance, because it decides the pixel pitch, and the pitch decides most of the price.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
Pitch Is the Gap Between the Lights
Pitch is measured in millimetres from one LED to the next. A small number means the lights are packed tightly and the image holds together close up. A large number means it breaks into visible dots until you step back.
There Is a Rule of Thumb
Minimum comfortable viewing distance in metres is roughly the pitch in millimetres. A two millimetre pitch reads cleanly from two metres. A four millimetre screen on a reception wall where people queue at a metre will look coarse to everyone waiting.
Indoors Needs Less Brightness
Indoor panels run far dimmer than outdoor ones, and that is deliberate. A screen bright enough for sunlight is uncomfortable to stand near in a lobby and makes everything around it look dark by comparison.
The Wall Has to Be Flat and Strong
Panels lock to each other, so any bow in the wall shows as a visible seam across the picture. We check flatness and build out a frame where needed, which is cheaper than discovering it on install day.
Content Is Sized to the Panel Count
The finished screen has an exact pixel dimension set by how many modules are used. Artwork made to a guessed size gets scaled and softened, so we give you the exact figure before anything is designed.
Handed Over With Access

The point we always make at quotation: a screen is a running cost as well as a purchase. It draws power continuously, it needs content changed to stay worth looking at, and a screen showing the same loop for six months is worse than a printed panel.

Setting up your file.
- 01Send the logo as a vectorLetters and shapes are cut from your outlines, so we need AI, EPS, SVG or PDF, not a screenshot or a JPEG.
- 02Measure the real spaceWidth, height and a straight-on photo of the wall or fascia. The tape measure often disagrees with the drawing.
- 03Send names as textFor plates and directories, send names and titles in a document, so nothing is retyped from an image.
- 04Tell us about power and the wallFor lit signs, where the nearest power point is. For every sign, what the wall is made of.
