Backlit Exhibition Counters in Dubai: A Counter That Glows
A backlit counter is lit from inside, so the printed face glows instead of reflecting the hall lighting. Backlit exhibition counters in Dubai are specified where the counter is the focal point of a stand and not simply somewhere to put brochures.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Face Is Backlit Fabric
Standard print fabric looks grey and patchy when lit from behind. Backlit grade cloth is denser and printed heavier, and it is what decides whether the counter looks good switched on. We print these at a heavier ink load specifically for the lit application.
Light Has to Spread Inside
LEDs sit back from the face with enough depth for the light to even out. A shallow counter shows bright bands where the strips are, which is the most common fault on a cheap backlit unit. We allow the depth at the design stage, which is why a backlit counter is deeper than an unlit one.
It Needs a Socket
One supply, ordered from the venue in advance. A backlit counter with no power is simply a fabric counter that cost more. Venue electrical orders close early, often weeks ahead of build up.
It Works Hardest in a Dim Hall
Under bright hall lighting the effect is modest. In a darker venue, an evening event or a hotel foyer it becomes the brightest object on the stand. Evening awards dinners and hotel lobbies are where these earn their cost.
The Top Stays Solid
A rigid worktop sits above the lit section, so the glow comes from the body of the counter and the surface still takes the usual load. The lit section stops below the worktop, so nothing shines up into a visitor's face.
Tested Lit Before It Ships
Every unit is assembled and run here, because a failed strip inside a counter is a workshop repair and not something to find during build up.
Being realistic about cost against effect: this is the most expensive counter here, and in a well lit exhibition hall a printed fabric counter at a third of the price reads almost as strongly. Specify backlit where the lighting around it is genuinely low.

Quick answers.
Yes, one socket ordered in advance.
Too little depth between the LEDs and the face.
Less so. The effect needs lower ambient light.
