Mailer Boxes in Dubai: Folded by Hand in Four Seconds
A mailer arrives at a packing bench as a flat corrugated blank and becomes a box without glue, tape or tools. Mailer boxes in Dubai are built around that fold sequence, because somebody is repeating it two hundred times in an afternoon.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Flutes Run One Way
Corrugated board has a fluted core, and it is far stiffer across the flutes than along them. The dieline is laid out so the flutes run the direction that resists crushing on the courier stack, which is a decision made before anything is printed.
Side Wings Lock the Walls Upright
Folding the two end walls up brings small wings inward, and the long side panels fold over them and hold them there. No glue is involved anywhere. That interlock is what lets a flat blank become rigid in one movement.
The Front Tucks Into a Slot
The lid folds over and a tongue on its front edge slides into a cut slot, which holds the box closed without tape. On a well drawn dieline that tongue goes in first time; on a poor one the packer fights it on every box.
A Tear Strip Opens It Without a Knife
Two parallel perforations across one panel let the customer pull a strip off and open the box by hand. It also makes the box single use, so a mailer with a tear strip cannot be a returns box as well.
Print Goes on the Outer Liner
Only the top liner takes print, and on standard brown kraft corrugated every colour prints over brown. White top liner is available and costs more, and it is the only way to get pale colours and photographic artwork on a mailer.
Folded on the Bench First
We fold a plain sample the way your packing team will, timing how long it takes, because a mailer that needs two attempts costs more in labour than it ever saved in board.
On courier handling, assume the worst. These boxes are dropped, stacked under weight and sometimes dragged, so the board grade is chosen for that handling and not for the contents. A mailer sized loosely around its product will crush inward at the gaps whatever grade it is.
Compare with rigid boxes, round stickers, and custom box options.

Quick answers.
No. The front tongue tucks into a slot.
Only on white top liner. Brown kraft shows through.
Not with a tear strip. That makes it single use.
