UAE National Day Flags in Dubai: Everybody Orders in the Same Fortnight
National Day is the single busiest point in the flag calendar. Every office, mall, school and compound in the country wants flags in the same two weeks, and production capacity across the city is finite. UAE National Day flags in Dubai are as much a scheduling problem as a printing one.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
October Is the Sensible Month
Ordering in October gets a comfortable production slot and time to proof colour properly. Late November means competing with everybody else for the same presses.
The Green Is the Difficult Colour
The UAE green shifts easily on polyester and is the colour most often slightly off on flags bought in a hurry. It is adjusted at file stage and proofed before the run.
The Order Is Usually a Mix
Most organisations need several things at once. Pole flags for the building, hand flags for staff, car flags for the fleet, bunting for the office and table flags for reception.
Quantities Are Larger Than Expected
Hand flags and car flags are handed out and not returned. Allow for more than headcount, because people take spares for family.
Hardware Can Be Reused
Poles, bases and brackets last for years. Only the flags need replacing, and often they do not, which makes the following year far cheaper if everything is stored properly.
Packed by Department
Large orders are split and labelled by building or team, so distribution does not become somebody's whole afternoon. Store everything together after the event, labelled. The single biggest saving the following year comes from knowing what you already own instead of reordering the lot. Decide early what is going on buildings as opposed to what is being handed out, because they are different products on different lead times. Pole flags are made to measure and giveaways are produced in volume, and mixing them in one late order delays both.
The honest scheduling note: in the last week of November we cannot promise large runs. We will say no instead of accepting an order we cannot deliver on time, and that is worth knowing when you are planning.

Setting up your file.
- 01Work at full size or to scaleBuild the file at full size, or at a stated scale such as 1:10 when the canvas gets too big, and tell us the scale.
- 02Match resolution to distanceSomething read from a few metres away needs far less resolution than a business card. Around 100 dpi at full size is usually plenty.
- 03Tell us how it will be fixedHems, eyelets, pole pockets and frames take up material around the edge. Tell us the fixing and prepress allows for it.
- 04Send logos as vectorsAI, EPS, SVG or PDF keeps edges sharp at large sizes. Embed or outline the fonts.
