Modular Stands in Dubai: One Kit, Several Shapes

A modular stand is built from a system of repeatable parts that go together in different configurations. Modular stands in Dubai suit companies exhibiting several times a year in different sized spaces, where a fixed custom build would only fit one of them.

How it's made

From your file to the finished job.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.

01 / 06

The Same Parts Make Different Stands

Beams, uprights and connectors assemble into a three by three one month and a six by three the next. Nothing is cut and nothing is wasted between shows.

02 / 06

Graphics Are Sized to the System

Panels and fabric are made to the module dimensions, so a graphic from last year fits this year's configuration. Only the layout changes.

03 / 06

It Needs No Specialist Tools

Most systems assemble with a single hex key or by hand. That means your own team can build it at a small show and we only attend the larger ones.

04 / 06

It Packs Into Cases

Frame sections, panels and accessories travel in wheeled cases instead of on a pallet, which makes a modular stand far cheaper to ship between emirates or abroad than a palletised build.

05 / 06

It Grows Over Time

Additional beams, a counter, an arch or a storeroom can be added to an existing kit. Companies usually start small and extend across a few seasons.

06 / 06

Stored and Inventoried

Between shows we store the kit and keep a parts list, so each new configuration starts from what you already own instead of a fresh quotation. Keep the layout drawings from every show. A modular kit is only reconfigurable if somebody knows which configurations it has already made, and that record is what stops every new show starting again from a completely blank sheet. A single shared folder of layout drawings is usually enough to keep that history.

The straightforward limitation is that a modular stand looks like a system. The joints and the module grid are visible to anyone who knows what to look for, and where the stand itself has to impress, a custom build does things a kit cannot.
