It Is Stored Twisted
Folded, the loop is twisted into a figure of eight and held in a flat round bag the size of a large pizza. The steel is under load the whole time it is stored, which is normal and is what makes the next step happen.
You Let Go and It Opens
Out of the bag, the frame springs open to its full shape on its own. There is a snap when it reaches the end of its travel. Nobody assembles anything and nothing can be assembled wrongly.
Fabric Is Already Attached
The printed polyester is sewn around the frame in production and never comes off. That is why the surface is always taut and why a pop-out banner cannot have its graphic swapped later.
Feet Clip On for Standing Versions
Floor standing models take small clip on feet at the base. Wall and ceiling versions skip these and hang from the top edge instead.
Double Sided by Default
Most pop-outs are printed both faces, since the fabric wraps the whole frame anyway. That makes them useful in the middle of a room where a roll-up would show a blank back.
Sizes and Shapes
The common ones are a tall portrait panel for beside a door and a wide horizontal version used as a low backdrop behind a table. Round and oval frames exist too and get used for branded photo props. All of them fold to roughly the same flat disc, which is the appeal when several are travelling together.
Now the awkward truth. Folding one back down is a knack. The first attempt usually ends with someone wrestling a sprung steel hoop in a corridor. Ask us to show you once and it takes five seconds forever after.
