It Is Built From Panels
Modular squares of foliage clip or wire together on a backing board. Panels are trimmed at the edges and the joins are blended by lifting leaves across them, which is what stops the wall reading as a grid.
Mixing Foliage Avoids the Pattern
A single panel type repeats visibly across a large wall. Mixing two or three leaf types and rotating panels breaks the repeat, and that is the difference between a convincing wall and an obvious one.
Logos Are Cut Into It
A printed or acrylic logo mounted on standoffs over the foliage sits proud of the green and catches light. This is the usual arrangement for a reception or a photo wall.
It Collects Dust
Foliage traps dust in a way a flat wall does not, particularly near a door. A vacuum with a brush head every few months keeps it looking fresh.
Indoor Grades and Outdoor Grades Differ
Outdoor foliage is UV stabilised and holds its colour in sun. Indoor grade used outside fades to a pale yellow green within a season, and the change is irreversible.
Installed on a Backing Board
We fix a board to the wall first and mount panels to it, which gives a flat result and means the whole wall can come down cleanly at the end of a tenancy. Plan what happens at the edges and the top. A foliage wall that stops abruptly reveals the backing board, so most installations finish against a timber trim or run the panels into a corner where the edge is never seen.
