Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
The Wall Is Measured First
Height, width, and every obstacle on it. Sockets, switches, skirting, a door frame and anything that interrupts the surface are all recorded, because the artwork is laid out around them.
It Prints as Numbered Drops
Wallpaper comes in vertical strips a manageable width. Each drop is numbered and they are hung in sequence, with the image continuing across the joins.
Overlap Is Built In
Drops are printed slightly wider than their finished position so adjacent strips overlap. That surplus is what lets an installer align the pattern instead of hoping the walls are square, which they rarely are.
Key Elements Are Positioned Deliberately
A face, a logo or a focal point is placed so it does not land on a join, a socket or behind a piece of furniture that is going back against the wall.
The Surface Has to Be Ready
Smooth, clean and fully cured. Fresh paint needs weeks before paper goes on it, and textured render needs lining first or the texture shows through.
Installed by Us
We hang custom work ourselves. Matching drops across a wall is a skill, and a misaligned join on a large image is visible from across the room. Decide furniture positions before the artwork is finalised. A large image loses its focal point entirely if a sofa, a reception desk or a cabinet lands across the middle of it, and that is a layout decision made in the room, not a printing one.
Being honest about files: wallpaper is one of the few things we print where resolution genuinely runs out. An image that works at A2 will not hold at three metres wide, and we check this before anything is scheduled.
