T-Shape Table Flags in Dubai: A Crossbar Under the Pole

A T-shape base puts a horizontal bar across the bottom of the upright, with the pole rising from its centre. T-shape table flags in Dubai are the stable option, used where a flag has to stay upright on a table that people lean on and reach across.

How it's made

From your file to the finished job.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.

The Crossbar Resists Tipping

Weight spread sideways across a bar is harder to topple than the same weight on a narrow foot. On a long conference table with people moving past, this is the practical difference.

02 / 06

It Sits Symmetrically

Because the pole rises from the centre of the bar, the stand looks the same from both sides of the table. An L-shape foot reads differently depending on where you sit.

03 / 06

It Takes More Depth

The bar runs across, so the stand occupies a wider strip of table. On a narrow desk this becomes the limiting factor and an L-shape is the better fit.

04 / 06

Good for Heavier Flags

Where the flag is larger, fringed or made from heavier satin, the extra base width keeps it stable. Fringing adds more weight than people expect.

05 / 06

Finishes Match the Range

Same chrome, gold and timber options, so a T base sits correctly alongside L and V stands in one room.

Used in Boardrooms

This is the base most often specified for permanent boardroom and reception positions, where stability over years matters more than footprint. If the table is glass, ask for felt pads under the bar. Metal on glass marks quickly and the scratches catch the light from every seat at the table. Bar length is the figure to check before ordering. On a narrow boardroom table a long crossbar overhangs the edge, and a stand that projects past the table is knocked by everyone who walks behind the chairs.

A straightforward note on sets: mixing base types across one table looks unconsidered. If some positions need two flags and others one, we would put V bases everywhere and leave a socket empty instead of mixing shapes down the table.
