Pennant Flags in Dubai: The Triangle on Its Own
A pennant is a single triangular flag, usually hung vertically from a short crossbar or from a cord. Pennant flags in Dubai turn up as club awards, team souvenirs, wall pieces and the small presentation flags exchanged between organisations.

Six steps happen between the brief and the finished job. Here they are, in the order they happen on our floor in Dubai South.
It Hangs Point Down
The wide edge is at the top and the point hangs below. That orientation is what distinguishes a pennant from a bunting flag, which is sewn into a continuous run and read horizontally.
The Top Edge Is the Fixing
A sewn channel takes a dowel or a cord. On presentation pieces this is often a polished wooden bar with a tassel at each end, which is most of what makes it feel like an award.
Shape Pushes the Layout
A triangle narrowing downwards means anything at the bottom is squeezed. Crests and logos go in the upper half, and text runs in short lines that shorten as they descend.
Felt and Polyester Behave Differently
Traditional pennants are felt with applied lettering, which feels substantial and looks handmade. Printed polyester handles photographic detail and full colour, and costs considerably less.
They Are Usually Small Runs
Twenty for a club, fifty for a tournament, two for an exchange between organisations. Setup is the main cost, so small quantities carry a higher unit price.
Finished to Be Kept
These are objects people hang on a wall for years, so edges are stitched and never just cut, and the bar and cord are specified to match. Where these are being presented to someone, a simple sleeve or box lifts them considerably. The pennant is the gift and the packaging is most of how it is received. Embroidered crests can be applied to a printed pennant where the detail justifies it. That combination gives you photographic colour across the body of the flag and a crisp crest where it matters, at a cost between the two methods.
Being realistic about the detail: at pennant size, fine crest work and small lettering soften on printed fabric. Where a club crest has intricate detail, embroidery or applied felt holds it better than printing does.
